Lot of Indians and foodies love authentic Indian cuisine, but do not consume onion or garlic in their food. Some religious sects like Jains do not consume onion or garlic based veggies. Besides during navratras, many Indians stay away from onion and garlic during these 9 auspicious days. My no onion no garlic amritsari chana recipe is for all people who do not eat chana masala or chole as it contains onion and garlic.

Amritsari style Chana masala recipe tastes divine with amritsari kulcha.

I use the chickpea stock to add base to this no onion no garlic amritsari chana recipe plus this stock absorbs all flavours from cardamom, cinnamon and mace used during boiling of chana.

The final no onion n garlic amritsari chana recipe will be loaded with spicy flavours, tangy pomegranate seeds and ginger julienne!
